MEMBSA at the Forefront of the Protection of Khushi Mandal

Date: 01/24/2026 – Jhapa

In the journey of life, there are moments of profound pain that render even words silent. Following the untimely death of her husband, Mala Mandal had been living a life marked by severe hardship and struggle. During this difficult period, MEMBSA had been providing her with financial and food assistance. Sadly, the recent and untimely passing of Mala Mandal herself has left everyone deeply shocked and grief-stricken.

With the passing of her mother, her physically disabled daughter, young Khushi Mandal, was left in a completely helpless situation. To ensure the child’s future, safety, and proper care, MEMBSA took immediate initiative and arranged for her safe protection at Susta Manasthiti Sarokar Manch Nepal, located in Kankai–1, Jhapa.

According to the organization, MEMBSA’s primary goal is not limited to Khushi Mandal’s present protection alone, but extends to safeguarding her long-term welfare, education, health, and a dignified life. MEMBSA has stated that it is moving forward not merely with wishes for the child’s well-being, but with a strong sense of responsibility to translate those wishes into action.

MEMBSA has always stood at the forefront in protecting, advocating for the rights of, and securing a brighter future for helpless, disabled, orphaned, and at-risk children. The protection of Khushi Mandal is a continuation of this unwavering commitment.

In this sorrowful time, the MEMBSA family has expressed heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to all compassionate individuals who have shown support, love, empathy, and solidarity. The organization has also reaffirmed its commitment to continue bringing hope, protection, and security into the lives of many such children.

Founded on the belief that real and meaningful change for women cannot be achieved until rural women are empowered and represented from within their own communities in social and political processes, this campaign-driven organization has expanded to more than 50 districts. By instilling self-confidence in daughters-in-law who, due to lack of opportunity and traditional family structures, are often confined solely to household responsibilities, MEMBSA conveys the message that they too can play a vital role in leading the nation toward prosperity. Through uniting these women and carrying out humanitarian and service-oriented work in various parts of the country during special circumstances, the organization has, in a short span of time, succeeded in earning a place in the hearts and minds of the people.

MEMBSA is the voice of love, humanity, and unity.
